One great place to find recipes is Vegweb <www.vegweb.com>. All the recipes are submitted by readers, and most of the ones I've tried have been quite good and easy to prepare, too. ---- Patricia Bullington-McGuire <patricia The brilliant Cerebron, attacking the problem analytically, discovered three distinct kinds of dragon: the mythical, the chimerical, and the purely hypothetical. Guest guest
Welcome to a great way of life! My first advice before you even begin to look for recipes, get an idea of how to stock your shelves. It's frustrating when you are new to this and don't have the hang of what to grab from the pantry to make quickly. I keep an ample supply of canned beans (they're great in a pinch when you don't have time to soak dried beans). Also, peanut butter, lots of fruit and veges, and dried fruits like raisins, cranberries, whatever you like. Nuts are good, and always have grains ready. Things like millet, bulgur and cous cous are easy to prepare. Good luck- you've made the right choice! Sharon
