I just received an email from them...

" Walnut Acres, America's original organic brand, will continue to provide great

tasting, certified organic products through the leading natural supermarkets,

grocery stores and health food stores. At the same time, we have made the very

difficult decision to discontinue a number of our products, as well as sales via

catalog and the internet. We hope this will not inconvenience you. " Hunter

Albright, Business Manager

They have just recently launched a new line of ready to serve, certified organic

soups.

I haven't seen the products in my area yet, but I will keep my eyes open.

Forgive me if this has already been answered, but Walnut Acres was bought out

by David Cole, former president of AOL and owner of Sunnyside Farms. He then

closed it within a couple months because it wasn't cost productive.

(Vegetarian Times, Mar 01) So sad.
