My husband, baby and I just returned from there two weeks ago and wish we could bring it all back with us. The restaurants are fabulous and very veggie friendly. Our favorites were the Laughing Seed Cafe at 40 Wall Street; Spirits on the River at 571 Swannanoa River Road (a Native American restaurant that is veggie friendly... Don't be alarmed by the looks of it or the location). We wanted to go to Zambra (a tapas restaurant) at 85 Walnut street, but they were under renovations... Maybe they're open now. Also: Max & Rosie's Most Excellent Cafe & Juice Bar at 52 N. Lexington Ave; Melanie's Food Fanatsy (for lunch) at 32 Broadway Ave. Almost every other restaurant we looked at had options, though.
