I wasn't getting enough fat or protein in my diet, and as one other person

mentioned, drink plenty of water, you are detoxifying... I ate more leafy

greens to keep up with the iron levels too...While I was transitioning, I

needed to eat a bit of fat and protein in every meal...If you are not

nursing nuts worked wonders, because I got both...careful of serving sizes

though, they pack a lot of calories.

I also went to a nutritionist and she had me eat certain fruits with a

protein because my body would metabolize fruits too quickly and then my body

would react like it was hypoglycemic. The protein helped to slow it

down...I know this isn't good food combining if anyone is in to that, but

the blood sugar drops in my case were pretty severe and we had to get that

in control. If you get dizzy or light headed along with the crabby PMS

feeling and it isn't that time, (that was happening to me,) a good

naturopath or dietician well versed in vegetarian eating might be a good

person to talk to.

mantha

question

I have a question. I have been slowly converting to a vegetarian

diet. I've not had meat for a while until Saturday and Sunday.

Today I am very moody and irritable (not PMS, ruled that out

already). My question is could meat be causing this moodiness and

irritability?

Thanks,

Kelly
