some Morningstar Farms products are vegan

Greetings,

 

My vegetarian burger crumbles from Morningstar Farms (really

Worhington Foods ... really Kelloggs!) are vegan. Not all of their

products have egg whites, but unfortunately most do. The package

isn't labelled as being made without genetically-modified-organisms,

and it wouldn't surprise me if there were GMOs in there. Bummer,

because their vegetarian (vegan) sausage crumbles were the greatest

thing for my breakfast casserole, and I'll miss buying them. (I'm

just now getting on the non-GMO bangwagon and I sometimes forget about

that when buying my convenience food products.)

 

In my opinion, the Light Life version is OK but the 'sausage' gets

slimy when cool, you have to eat them hot. (My kids don't seem to

care, though.)
