Guest guest
hi all, well, the other day I made a loaf of whole wheat bread and t didnt turn out good at all. i think that the yeast was bad or something. So I decided to try and make some croutons out of it and they were awesome! Heres what I did. Cut the bread into cubes and place in a large bowl. In a frying pan, sautee 3 cloves of minced garlic in 1/4 C olive oil & 2 tbsp Earth Balance Spread Add seasonings to the frying pan. I used Garlic powder salt peper oreano parsley basil when garlic is done, drizzle over bread cubes and toss until they are all coated. put cubes on a baking sheet and place in a 300 degree oven for an hour, flip them and stir them up a couple times during the hour. They were so good that my family was eating them as a snack! Jo-Ann Want to chat with other vegans? Join VeganTalk!! Now we are looking for a spritz cookie recipe the one we have is very good but uses honey which makes it much to sticky to work in the press.
