Guest guest
Hi, I've been reading with interest about your ideas about boosting calcium. is it possible to give kids raw tofu - see, I don't like it much, but have only had it cooked. My daughter is 18 months old and i am trying to bring her up semi - vegan -so, if she could eat raw cubed tofu, I would be a lot happier. Guest guest
My daughter is 10 months old and she loves raw tofu. It's definately possible. If she doesn't like it, you can always try to give it to her hidden in her food. Guest guest
My children love raw tofu...and I do too, for that matter. I think that the trick is to find a brand that suits your taste. They can vary greatly (soft vs. firm vs. silken, nigari vs. calcium, etc.). My children will eat anything, but I'm partial to Trader Joe's Firm for raw eating. Guest guest
I used to (and still do for one of my kids) rub a little tamari into the raw tofu cubes. Makes it a little tastier. I even eat it that way sometimes, or make sandwiches out of it. But then, I LOVE tofu! susan ______________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! Juno offers FREE or PREMIUM Internet access for less! Guest guest
I tried tofu in many ways, but I really don't like it... but I do like some soy milks and soy yogurt.
