Guest guest
My son is 16 months old. Until 13 months he was on either breast milk or soy formula. I am trying to raise him more or less vegan but I am really worried he isn't getting enough calcium. He refuses rice milk and soy milk. I was so worried that I tried organic cheese and yougurt. He eats only a little so I don't think it is really providing him with much calcium.. I do include veg sources such as sesame seeds in his diet but he is not a vegetable fan so leafy greens aren't really an option. I feel like there may be no choice but to introduce cow's milk. Oh no. I'd really appreciate any advice. Oh-and has anyone tried calcium supplements by Floradix? Would they be a good option? I know that their iron supplement really helped me during my pregnancy.
