Guest guest
Carmen, Here's a recipe for Kanten, which is a macrobiotic version of a natural, vegan jello. It's easily doubled. The recipe is for 3 desserts. 2 cups natural organic fruit juices - apple, pear, strawberry, cherry - or a combination. 1 T. agar agar pinch salt 1 apple - shredded or other fruit (to match fruit juice) 1 T. Kudzu Pour juice into saucepan. Pour on agar agar. Do not stir. Let sit for about 10 min. until agar is softened. Add salt. Bring to a boil, whisking often and cook for 5 min. Add shredded apple. If you use berries or melon, do not add while cooking, wait until the end. Dissolve kudzu in 2 T. water then add to mixture. Stir. It will not look thick. Pour into serving dishes and chill. Guest guest
Thanks so much for the jello recipe! We've had computer problems so I just got it. I'm psyched to try it out!
