Guest guest
I am in the same boat. My husbands family are die-hard meat eaters and constantly tease my about feeding my 2 year old meat. (I even suspect that they've snuck him some) They ask him if he wants to try it and it's so bad that when we go to the grocery store, pass the deli section, he'll point to the Chicken and say " mmmm, chicken, Noah try! " Unfortunately, he's not of an age where I can reason with him, or explain why he shouldn't listen to them. It is so frustrating. I'd love to hear how others help their children deal with pressure to eat meat! Guest guest
My 8 year old has been vegetarian all her life, but is being influenced by others (including her other parent) to eat meat at Burger King, Mc Donalds, etc. Any advice on how to keep a child from straying? There's never any problem at home. She eats a well balanced, varied, vegetarian diet. It's only when she's out with others that she is tempted to eat meat. Looking forward to your feedback. Thanks.
