Guest guest
Sandra and everyone! This is the most exciting natural product I have ever found! Sundrops are like M & Ms but with natural colored shells -- made from beet juice, etcetera. And that was exciting. But I finally found food coloring made from beet juice and such -- absolutely no chemicals! It comes as paste food coloring and you can make icing, marzipan, colored dough, and even natural face paint with it! It is very expensive, but I think it would last a while since you just mix a little into your icing. Go to Gaiam.com and search for paste food coloring, or look through the baking section. I think there are 4 or 5 colors which come in a reusable tin, for $19.99. I haven't ordered them yet, but I will be soon in order to ice my Halloween cookies! =) Warmest Wishes, Tanya (mommy to Justin -6, and Kailey -2) NEW from GeoCities - quick and easy web site hosting, just $8.95/month. http://geocities./ps/info1

Just FYI, sundrops are not vegan, they do contain dairy. I believe whey and or milk powder. I'm trying to suggest to the company that they could use no n dairy substitutes to make these truely vegan. There is a product called Whizzers. They are candy " speckled eggs " . Made by Allergycare. All vegan and no artificial colors or preservatives. Call or email Pangea to order them. They carry a huge line of vegan goodies. Peace, Laura

Guest guest
I'd like to send my thanks as well. My son is allergic to red dye and it is hard to find natural food colorings. I'll have to see if I can get them to send them to me here in Canada. I would love to make that pumpkin cake that I haven't made for years since I couldn't decorate it.
