Guest guest
I was wondering if anybody has a recipe for a bottom cream. I have did a search and found some recipes but was wondering if someone had a tried and true recipe they would like to share that has no animal ingredients including beeswax. ~*~Mitzi Mommy to Haley 3/
Guest guest
I always used aloe from a plant in our bedroom. You just open up one of the 'leaves' and use the gel inside. Guest guest
The best baby bottom remedy I had was a mix of Maalox and zinc oxide powder (available at pharmacies if you ask). You mix the two until you get a paste. A pediatrician suggested it and it works great, especially for allergic rashes. This was in pre-veg days, however, so I don't know if Maalox is considered vegan. :-) Olivia At 10:56 AM 10/16/01 +0000, you wrote: > Fri, 12 Oct 2001 21:20:30 -0700 > " Dan & Mits " <vegibrgr >Homemade baby booty cream > >I was wondering if anybody has a recipe for a bottom cream. Guest guest
I make a bottom cream containing aloe vera gel, vitamin E, cocoa butter, calendula oil (just a bit for deoderizing) and sweet almond oil. After this cools is tends to be a bit clumpy but you can warm it for a few secs in the microwave or I just put it on my baby's bottom clumpy and it melts within minutes. I use this pretty regularly as a preventitive cream. P.S. I gave some to my sister and she uses it for chapped lips, razor burn, very dry skin patches, scrapes, and on her little one's bottom! Guest guest
Thanks to everybody that replied. I am going to try these. I suggestion from another list was to try 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil with 3-4 drops of tea tree oil it. I did this and put it in a empty tincture bottle, it works great for her bottom. Just that little bit lasts a whole week. I make sure it gets on her bottom only, none on her inner labia. ~*~Mitzi Mommy to Haley 3/00 PCO article in Newsweek: http://www.msnbc.com/news/648842.asp
