Guest guest
Hi - I am new here - this may be an old question but ... I want to know how others have introduced the fact of their child's vegetarianism in social situations, i.e. playschool, birthday parties, to others who don't know anything about their family. Now that my 3 yr old daughter is getting involved in more social settings the topic is going to come up. Her dad and I have been vegetarian for 11 yrs, and quite frankly don't care what anyone else thinks about us, but for my daughter's sake I want to handle this the most sensitive/appropriate way I can. I want to convey that we are proud and unambiguous, but I do not want to alienate people I do not know when doing so. Does anyone have a " pat answer " or standard, concise explanation they use in these situations? Thanks!!!!! I need your advice.
