Same was true with my grandfather, who grew up on a farm. For a long time, hunters led the conservation movement (Aldo Leopold for example). I was at the gym this morning, it is the first day of hunting season here and some men were talking about hunting. One guy said that he saw a buck in his backyard another said that if it were his yard that would be the last time that buck would cross into his property. Then one was telling the story about how he was hunting and heard a bunch of shots, he went over and some guy had shot about six deer because they were all together, they guys were then laughing about it!
