Guest guest
Hello again! Okay--who better to ask that a bunch of veggie parents!! Has anyone found any good cheese replacements?? That was definitely my problem area when I was vegan last time... Especially cheeses that melt. I'm in Canada, so maybe that is part of the problem? There is not much choice, and what I have tasted isn't very good (or meltable!) The only good one I have found is the Yves Good Slice (which I don't think that the have in the states....) but there are some animal ingredients in it and it is a fake processed cheese. I would love to find a good fake cheese to use on pizzas etc. Can anyone help?? They've come out with everything else--I figure it must be out there!! Thanks! Guest guest
IMO, they're all inedible. Sorry! Sandra, who can't kick cheese either :-(
Guest guest
We tried Tofutti slices because someone here recommended them and my cheese-loving son actually really liked them. They aren't readily available around here, but we did find them at a Trader Joes. Olivia
