Following is a recipe for fresh applesauce that I clipped out of a

newspaper awhile ago... Carmen

4 apples

1/4 cup cold water

" Peel and core the apples and cut them into eighths. Put the water and

three or four of the apple wedges in your blender. Process on high

speed. Add remaining apple chunks, a few at a time, and blend. Add a

touch of cinnamon, if you like. Serves four, about 80 calories a

serving. "

homemade applesauce? If so, how do you make it? Because I follow the

fit for Life Principles so I always prefer not to cook fruits...

Gee, I do this all the time but I just chop the apples coarsely. You can make

it with pears too. :) If I am doing it for baby food I grate the apple and

then cook it. Sadly I can't add cinnamon because my son is allergic.
