Guest guest
Elisa- Following is a recipe for fresh applesauce that I clipped out of a newspaper awhile ago... Carmen 4 apples 1/4 cup cold water " Peel and core the apples and cut them into eighths. Put the water and three or four of the apple wedges in your blender. Process on high speed. Add remaining apple chunks, a few at a time, and blend. Add a touch of cinnamon, if you like. Serves four, about 80 calories a serving. Guest guest
Gee, I do this all the time but I just chop the apples coarsely. You can make it with pears too. If I am doing it for baby food I grate the apple and then cook it. Sadly I can't add cinnamon because my son is allergic. Jacqueline - veggiecarm December 20, 2001 13:35 Re: fresh applesauce...
