I was wondering if we could do something that I have participated in on another

board called Frugal Moms. Everyday there is a post of the Day's menu's in which

people will post what they are cooking for dinner. It helps people come up with

ideals when they see what others are serving. I know as a newbie I am very

interested to know what everyone is having. So, there would be like Friday's

Dinner or Saturday Suppers etc. And everyone would post what they are having.

Can we do this?

I like this idea! I have time off from school for a few weeks and am looking

for some new recipes to try out since I have the time.

Sounds like a cool idea to me. Every night we stand in front of the fridge

and pantry and wonder what to make. We have plenty of food and choices,

just sometimes can't think of something! Last night we made sloppy joes

(Barbeque Manwhich sauce and Morning Star Farms burger crumbles), french

fries and broccoli spears. Hmm. What's fer dinner tonight?????

Well, I'll start. I made a vegetable " cassoeula " , it's a northern Italian dish.

I made it with potatoes, kale, carrots, onions, 2 cups of water, a little tomato

sauce, 1 veggie buillon cube, black pepper, extra-virgin olive oil and a little

red wine (optional). I made it in the pressure cooker because I was in a hurry,

it was ready in 15 minutes. But you can also make it cook slowly. I like to

serve it with a garden salad and bruschetta. You can add veggie sausages to it

if you like, if you do I suggest you first sauté them in olive oil with onions

to give them more taste.

That's it for me!

Hugs,

that being normal isn't necessarily a virtue.

It rather denotes a lack of courage! "

This works for me. I'd love to get some new ideas for meals...As someone who

neither excels at nor enjoys cooking, I could use the help. :) Madeline
