NOTMILK - - MAKE YOUR OWN CHOCOLATE MILK

PERFECT HOMEMADE CHOCOLATE MILK

Smoother than Silk (no added flavors)

Cheaper than Silk (8 cents per quart vs. $1.89)

Tastier than Silk (ask my daughters,

Jennifer, Sarah, or Lizzy)

Your chocolate soymilk contains none of those

secret " NATURAL FLAVORS " contained

in Silk. No calcium carbonate either, nor sea

salt, carrageenan, or palmitate.

THE RECIPE:

For those of you with soymilk machines,

add two quarts of water and one-half cup

of soybeans to your soymilk maker, press

the button, in a few minutes, you've made

soymilk for 4 cents per quart.

CHOCOLATE SYRUP

Easy as 1, 2, 3

Add ONE part cocoa powder (it's non-dairy)

to TWO parts soymilk to THREE parts

sugar. Mix well and store in your refrigerator.

CHOCOLATE MILK

Add 5 tablespoons of your homemade

chocolate syrup to 1 cup of soymilk. Mix well.

That's it! Compare the calories "

1 Quart of chocolate cow's milk = 830 calories

1 Quart of whole cow's milk = 595 calories

1 Quart of soy chocolate milk = 591 calories

For those of you who do not own soymilk

makers, the SoyToy will be available in a

few weeks. For more information:

Note*

Unlike Silk, your homemade soy chocolate

milk will not be processed on dairy equipment.

Each carton of SILK carries the tiniest letters

right underneath the Kosher label: DE.

You may need a magnifying glass to read `em,

but those letters are there UNBOLDED as an

embarrassment to White Wave's non-dairy

alternative.

I know you didnt write it, but I have some comments/questions:

I don't know what palmitate is, but what's wrong w/ calcium, salt & seaweed?

Anyone know how long it keeps?

More likely, the information is there for people who keep kosher and

understand what it means, but they prefer to not draw attention to it

because there's so much misformation floating around.

Well, I would not want to drink soy milk made using equipment that is being used

to make cow's milk.

Sandra-

I would imagine that vegans who are concerned about animal welfare would

choose not to buy this milk if they knew it was being processed on dairy

equipment.
