Guest guest
> Unlike Silk, your homemade soy chocolate > milk will not be processed on dairy equipment. We contacted White Wave, the company that makes Silk, for an article we did on a soymilk survey. Silk won hands down, but there was concern about the rumor that it was processed on the same equipment used for dairy. We were told: " Our tolerance for dairy content in Silk Soymilk is zero... We are committed to providing a product that is one hundred percent lactose-free. " They explained that this is a common practice and that they take necessary precautions. The equipment is flushed with both water and air and they dispose of the first 75 gallons.
