Guest guest
I made a tradtional meal for Sunday Dinner. I had Vegetarian Meatloaf, southern cooked squash, mashed potatoes and vegetarian gravy, and sliced tomatoes. I took the Morningstar vegetarian crumbles and combined it with, 1 cup breadcubes, 1 egg, 1 chopped onion, 1 small green pepper chopped, a half of can of mushrooms, and about 1/4 milk. I cooked it in the microwave until it was firm. I then added a little of the vegetarian gravy over it. It was good and my daughter kept saying, " We're eating meat, we're eating Spicy-the cat. " I had to convince her that it was meatless!!!
Guest guest
Ohhh, ok. I thought you meant normal rice. Sorry! Sandra > Sandra, in regards to the brown rice, I was in a hurry and used Success 10 > Minute Natural Whol Grain Brown Rice. There are 4 boil in bags in the box each > bag makes about 1 cup cooked. Guest guest
Last night for a church pot luck dinner, I made two dishes, vegetarian barbecue beans and vegetarian chili with dry, bulk TVP. Since my son and I are the only vegetarians we know of at church, I was surprised to see that every bit was eaten by people who seemed not to notice the dishes were meatless, vegan; many people complimented them afterward. -- Be kind. Be of good cheer. Dick Ford
