Guest guest Posted January 18, 2002 Report Share Posted January 18, 2002 I have found people to be ignorant too and although we haven't been vegetarians for long-second time around- my daughter is learning. We were at IHOP's yesterday, and I ordered a delicious Hearty Whole Grain, Oat, and Nuts pancakes, hashbrowns and scrambled eggs w/ cheese- We're Ovo-lacto's. I changed my 5 yr old's order from 10 silver dollar pancakes from the adult section to the kids which had 5 silver dollar pancakes, eggs and bacon. When they brough out the platter, I stared at the bacon because I was going to simply remove it from her plate, but she screamed. She took the bacon and handed it to the waiter and said, " NO MEAT! " He turned to me, " No meat? " I said, " No, " He said okay and walked away with this greasy bacon in his hand. I wanted to laugh so bad! With all the information available now, I wouldn't want her to eat that stuff anyway. Not with all the stuff their injecting, feeding and forcing upon the public!!!
