Guest guest
What type of foods are you cooking? This time around I am making foods no different than what we already eat. They have Morningstar Vegan burgers. If you're kids are vegetarian, Morningstar would be a very good choice for them. There isn't that many choices for Vegans I'm afraid. We're Ovo-lacto's so we are able to eat nearly the same due to Morningstar than if we were Vegans. My daughter doesn't even noticed a difference and she's eaten meat her entire life-5 whole yrs. I have been cooking tacos-burger crumbles or refried beans, um...spagetthi either with pesto, red sauce plain, or with Morningstar meatballs. Pizza with extra cheese/mushrooms, or with vegetarian pepperoni and lots of veggies.Lot's of simple salads, corn on the cob, regular corn, brocoolli, red beans and rice, mac n cheese, mashed potatoes w/ vegetarian gravy. Vegetarian meatloaf, Two bean southwestern chili- which I always made before with meat but now just omit that. Hmm, Vegetarian chicken nuggets, vegetarian subs, corndogs, and things like that. Stuff she already knows. And I haven't had a problem with her eating. The last time I tried exotic foods and she refused to eat. Being on this site and others has helped me recognize that I can eat good foods just like before.
