Guest guest
My daughter didn't have an ear infection until she was four. She and I both got the ear infection because of the rapid change in climate where we live-East Tennessee. She was on Soy Formula from Birth due to allergies. She then became allergic to the Soy Milk, Lactaid and then went to Vitamite, which chalked up on the table if spilled. She then started drinking milk at 2 1/2 because her daycare worker had run out of the Vitamite I provided and had given her milk and she no longer had a reaction. I on the other hand am still allergic to milk. But, I had never had an ear infection as a child and I drank milk daily until I was 18 yrs old. It wasn't until age 26, I am now 27 that I got my first ear infection. I have sinuses/allergies, as does my daughter and moving here where the whether goes from freezing cold in the morning to steaming hot then to cold in the evening, or from 30 degrees oneday and 80 the next, and rainy the day after that, such a constant switch irritates our sinuses. We are just now switching to Soy Milk. I wouldn't go so far as to say that milk drinkers have more ear infections because their are other factors that might cause an ear infection besides dairy.
