Protein for dinner

Everything has protein, since protein is a necessarily

component for plant growth, as well as animal growth.

But high-protein plant-foods include beans, nuts,

seeds, and products derived from them: peanut butter,

hummus, etc.

We know that broccoli and a handful of other

supervegetables have more protein calorie-for-calorie

than steak or any other cut of meat, so there's no

real question here whether or not you're going to be

serving any protein.

In my opinion the only REAL questions you have are

whether or not you're going to keep those dinner

invitations and whether or not you're going to retain

this couple as friends.

I'd strongly urge a " NO " vote on both of these issues,

but also urge you to find some tactful way to let the

dinner invitation get cancelled and to just never

again invite them to food-related events UNLESS it's

to a local vegetarian society event or a visit by Dr.

Michael Klaper or Dr. Reed Mangels or Robert Cohen.

Why is that my position? Because you have a family

to rear, and all that takes time. Don't anguish

because you have difficult friends. Not only is YOUR

life too short, but your time with your family and

REAL friends is also cut short by allocating precious

time and resources to those who will only continue to

drain you.
