Guest guest
This might be a stupid question, but what exactly is nutritional yeast? Where do you get it? Even my local health food store doesn't seem to have the Red Star stuff everyone always recommends. Is it the same as brewer's yeast? And if so, isn't that really expensive? A can sells for $20-$25, and that seems like a lot for something that I can get in a bottle of tablets (with twice as many servings) for $10-$15. What's the advantage of using nutritional yeast over a vegan multivitamin? Send FREE Valentine eCards with Greetings! http://greetings. You don't have to buy the Red Star brand, it is just one of the vegan brands of Nutritional yeast, some of them contain whey. It isn't they same as Brewer's yeast. My hfs sells a 12 oz can for $8.99. It is alot of NY. It is great for cooking, the taste is pretty good. Sara
