Guest guest
Living a vegan lifestyle is very healthy and in my opinion a good way to raise your children. (My three are vegans also.) However, divorcing will do far more damage to your children than eating dairy and eggs. Eating dairy and eggs will damage them physically. Divorcing will damage them emotionally and spiritually. They can grow up and live the healthy lifestyle they choose, but they will bear the scars of divorce long after they are grown. Been there, done that. Guest guest
If there are issues with your wife beyond whether the children are vegan or not, then divorce may or may not be appropriate. My question is how much their diet is the real issue and how much it is part of a power struggle between you and your wife. She feeds them dairy and eggs because she knows it will bother you, etc. Divorce, however, will not solve the vegan question. When the children are with your wife she will feed them as she wishes and when they are with you you will do the same. I guess that my bottom line is that if the conflict over the children's diet is the main impetus for divorce, I don't see where that will accomplish anything. - sunshinelass2002 Tuesday, February 12, 2002 2:18 PM In Response to Queue68 Living a vegan lifestyle is very healthy and in my opinion a good way to raise your children.
