misuse of list members' addresses to send sp*m

It has become obvious that I am being sent email intended for at least a

dozen other email lists as a result of being on the list. I

did not consent to receiving postings to these other lists; therefore, I

consider them sp*m. Some (but not all) of the inappropriate lists are

as follows:

 

IVU-Veg-News (AT) Groups (DOT) com

VegEats-News (AT) Groups (DOT) com

VegNYC

Veg-NYC

 

Would the person(s) responsible for misappropriating my email address

please remove me from those lists immediately?

That sucks. Thats why I have mine set to not send e-mail. I just go

on the web sites to read all the posts. But, I seem to recall there

being a setting somewhere that you set to allow or not allow list

owners to invite you to or add you to their group (I think??). Maybe

you need to change your setting on that.
