Guest guest
It seems that lately I've been seeing more and more health food products listing dehydrated organic cane juice in the ingredient list and I was wondering if anyone has heard any " bad rap " about this product. I don't give my son products containing sugar or its derivatives because of the refinement involved and therefore was wondering if dehydrated cane juice is a viable alternative. Guest guest
Hi, We use the organic evaporated cane juice -- this is basically the juice extracted from sugar cane and evaporated, the molasses is not separated, it's not bleached or highly processed, so I believe it's " healthier " than processed sweeteners... but not healthy... still for treats. Guest guest
Although we have been know to eat products with dehydrated cane juice, we try to avoid it. It is still sugar and there are alternatives out there that I personally prefer. When I cook I use Stevia, barley malt, or brown rice syrup. I look for products with fruit juice instead of dehydrated cane juice, but I don't know if nutritionally there is much of a difference. Just my preference, Linda --- admartin <admartin wrote: > It seems that lately I've been seeing more and more > health food products listing dehydrated organic cane > juice in the ingredient list and I was wondering if > anyone has heard any " bad rap " about this product. > I don't give my son products containing sugar or its > derivatives because of the refinement involved and > therefore was wondering if dehydrated cane juice is > a viable alternative. > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been > removed] > > > Health - your guide to health and wellness http://health.
