Guest guest
I just wanted to share the link for this wonderful website Dr. Jay Gordon.com - Home Someone on another of my lists recommended it. It is a dr. who is totally pro attachment parenting and veganism, there is some pretty good info about why kids don't need dairy, eggs or meat. There are also tips on feeding them healthy. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did. Sara
Guest guest
I found his sleep advice less than satisfactory, though. Sandra, totally anti cio
Guest guest
Sara, Thanks for the tip on the website. It's always good to see another doctor who supports my parenting style. CIO involves ignoring a child's cries and he doesn't advocate that at all. Most proponents of CIO also say to let the child cry no matter how much it hurts the parent, he says that if it ever feels wrong to not do it. He also states to NEVER try his methods with a child under 12 months old. Sara
Guest guest
Could you please elaborate a little as to why you found his sleep advice less satisfactory? I was excited to learn about his website and printed off the information regarding Changing the Sleep Pattern and was going to try his recommendations for older babies on my 19 month old. However, I will wait to see if you give reasons for why his recommendations are not good. Thanks a lot!!! Regarding other parts of the website - I found his position on vaccinations interesting. - " Sandra Mort " <sandra.mort Monday, May 20, 2002 11:36 AM Re: Great website > I found his sleep advice less than satisfactory, though. > Sandra, totally anti cio > > > > > > For more information about vegetarianism, please visit the VRG website at http://www.vrg.org and for materials especially useful for families go to http://www.vrg.org/family. > >
