I haven't bought marshmallows in ages, probably since last Pesach (which is when our kosher grocery tends to bring them in in large quantities). My kids profess a great love for marshmallows, but then they languish in the cupboard and turn to stone, so I don't buy them often. I hadn't heard that the Emes factory had burned down. I'll have to check the marshmallows when I next go to the grocery, but I'm not optimistic - he brings most of his stuff in from the USA 8-(. But I'll be sure to report 8-). I do, however, have a container of marshmallow fluff sitting right in front of me (I had to run and pull it out!). It is not vegan, as it contains egg whites, but no gelatin. I was planning to make Rice Krispie squares, since I've been getting so much flack recently about not buying the treif ones <sigh>. In my copious spare time ... Kol tuv, Hadass in Winnipeg.
