Can she not feed herself with a spoon? At that age, my ds was a pretty

independent eater, and about half actually made it into his mouth. :)

Yes. But if she's breastfeeding, she's getting all her nutrients - solid

foods at this point are more for fun, exploration and practice. She may be

awhile figuring out that she can masticate with those teeth she's growing.

A child can feed her/himself better than we realize, and don't we know, they

need the practice!! :-)

PS. It's not a stage - she's independent from now on! :-D
