Guest guest
Greetings ! I'm Shahara LeFay from Wisconsin, in the usa. I am vegan; been so for awhile, vegan/vegetarian for about 19 years. I am also a writer/poet, (working on a trilogy of books at the moment) and a work/stay at home momma of 5, (also run a home daycare) one of who is in college, the others are homeschooled. They are (almost) 19f, 16m, 11m, 5m, 2f. The last 3 were born at home, the last of those, an unassisted birth (by far the easiest of the 5, even being 38 at the time). All the children were breastfeed for 3 or more years, family bedded, no circ/vac, etc. The older kids aren't as vegie-minded as I, but we eat no meat (nor dairy or eggs, occasionally pizza if they have a party) in the house. I've also recently joined an intentional community in north-central WI and are busily preparing for a primitive, simple homesteading life off the grid and amongst the earth. We are all vegetarian, I am the only vegan so far; everything we do is to heal, tread lightly, organically, sustainably with our land. This has long been a dream of mine which took years to attain. We'll start building the yurt in late fall after our 6' weeds start to droop! In August, there is an Earthfest we put on every year with music, vegie food, speakers, eco-stuff for sale, in a large local park. I will be doing a magazine recycle drive, and have a Vegan booth. (I ordered many pamplets from Vegan Outreach, but am still looking for handouts on GM foods and Organic foods, if anyone can help out...I don't have access to a printer, so I'd need to purchase them.) Not sure what else would be appropriate to write...I have a little website, below, if anyone is interested, but hope to learn alot here, thanks! warm regards to all, ~shahara shahara lefay pagan priestess vegan~homeschool radical momma of 5 TerraSoLuna*TribeLeFay ~faery fam-trad~ " You must be the change you wish to see in the world " - Gandhi TerraSoLuna- Wishomeschool- ~~ There is nothing stronger than gentleness; nothing gentler than strength ~~
