Monica, You can find what you need at any Wal-Mart, Target, K-Mart, etc. in the kitchen section. They're also called strainers, and they're not that expensive. I use mine for rinsing all sorts of things---beans, canned olives, etc. You do need to rinse quinoa before cooking it because of bitter-tasting oils on the grain Mother Nature placed there to protect it from bugs.
