Sheri, I think I recall that CEC is vegan without the cheese - you might ask

them to please clean the slicer before using it on your pizza - or ask for

it uncut and ask for a knife.

I have the same problem in Florida. Parks and Recreation Dept is only just

now catching on that an outside play area (park, waterpark, playground) will

be vacant if not covered or shaded! We go to Books-A-Million or Barnes &

Noble, both of which (in out town) have Thomas train sets in the kids'

section. (BAM also has a tv, unfortunately.) I also took some games to my

local coffee shop, and I leave them there so when I take my son the games

are there for him to play with, and other kids can play with them, too.

The local Y has a toddler time that's for kids up to 5 yrs, don't remember

how old yours is, but your Y may have something....

Don't these hot days just drive you nuts?! We have super-hot days, followed

by torrential afternoon/evening rain, so we're pretty much housebound for

the better part of the day.
