Searching for vegetarian-friendly foodservice director/staffer

Boston's Healthy School Lunch Program task force is searching for a supportive

advisor in foodservice. This person should be vegetarian-friendly and able to

volunteer her or his expertise and practical know-how to guide the HSLP task

force in the institutional maze of school committees, foodservice, student (and

teacher/staff/administrator) tastes, cost and procurement issues, and practical

politics.

 

Vegetarian-friendly foodservice-savvy RD's are also sought for ad hoc projects

and advising.

 

Some " products " from the HSLP task force may include some " factsheets " in

several foodservice areas, a resource " bank " (list or database), and perhaps

some " speakers " or advisors (to school systems) regarding menu modification.
