When you get a stack of about 50 for a desk lamp, or 100 for a floor lamp, drill a hole through the bottom of each one, then nest them, up-side down, into a tall stack. Run a wire through the hole. Wrap the stack in recovered wallpaper or wrap with recycled brown wrapping paper to decorate as you please. Add a lamp fixture to the top, a lampshade, and voila! ~Doh considering a career as the vegan (and socially-investing) Martha Stewart, but in the meantime filling her own tupperware cabinet with Earth Balance tubs.... Buy sheets of cork from an art supply store and cut out circles to fit in the inside circle of the top of the lid; use double-sided tape to affix the cork.
