Surgeon General Calls for Obesity Solutions

 

WASHINGTON, Sept. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. Surgeon General Richard Carmona,

speaking at a Grocery Manufacturers of America scientific conference, said

more Americans are obese and overweight today due to several factors

including cultural changes that have led to a sedentary lifestyle. He said

food choices are just one factor in our overall health and wellness.
