Guest guest
Tomorrow (Wednesday) is the 20th annual observance of World Farm Animals Day with educational events throughout the U.S. and 20 other countries. The purpose is to expose and memorialize the suffering of billions of innocent, sentient animals in the world's factory farms and slaughterhouses. The date honors the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi. The events range from festivals and touring video vans to simple information tables and TVs placed on top of activist cars. Hundreds of bus cards, billboards, and letters to the editor carry our message to millions. Nearly 40 governors and mayors have issued supportive proclamations. Please visit http://www.wfad.org for a listing of events and guidance on how you too can observe this historic occasion throughout the month of October. -- Check out our new World Farm Animals Day site at http://www.wfad.org. Then join us in this historic 20th observance on behalf of the 97%. New DSL Internet Access from SBC &
