Guest guest Posted September 30, 2002 Report Share Posted September 30, 2002 This month marks the 2.5 yr. milestone of nursing my beautiful daughter. To get here there have been many ups and downs. Not once have I ever regretted letting her nurse this long. Besides fulfilling a need for her it has become a very special part of my life. I will always treasure this time in her life and mine. A million thanks to my Dh for being supportive of me. I am so tickled and touched by the things she says to me. The other day I was getting dressed and she held out her arms to me. I walked over to the bed where she was sitting and she patted my breasts and said " I love boo-boos mom " brought tears to my eyes! Yesterday I was getting out of the shower and drying off. She said " boo-boo's all wet " I said yeah, mommies drying off clean boo boo's for Haley. She said " I eat those " I laughed, she said it again. Later when we were nursing on the bed, she reached up and stroked my hair and said " mommy has pretty hair " .
