Guest guest
Boy! Have I got some ideas for you!!! LOL Of course, which ones you try all depend on what you've already introduced into the baby's diet. My first daughter started on solids at 10m. My second went straight to finger foods and did so around 14 months with no mushy food in between. Kale (or chard, collard, or any greens) pureed. just wash the greens and shred them. I usually cook them in an organic, salt-free broth. toss in the blender and puree. Put cooled puree into ice cube trays and freeze. Just take one or two cubes out when ready to feed baby. You can also add couscous or rice to this dish. Sweet potato and madarin oranges same as above but cook in very little water just to make the potatoes mushy. You can substitute baby carrots for the oranges. Puree. Freezes well tofu and avocado puree - make fresh. I don't suggest freezing this one. any kind of fruit puree with a touch of blackstrap molasses You can mix silken tofu into any of these. There are so many wonderful things you can make. Just let your imagination go wild keeping in mind the rules of introducing foods. Good luck and have fun!! Lucy
