Guest guest
I guess I was fortunate since the conception of my son (5). I had a great OB/GYN with midwives on staff.. The facility was more than happy to respect my wishes as far as delivery went (no blaring lights and my husband helped deliver). The pediatrician circumcised after 8 days, encouraged breast feeding and had no problem with our veg*n diet. Now since we've moved back to the city we've found a family practician that only encourage certain vaccinations while others they see no need for and think are actually useless. Exp. chicken pox vaccination. My son and I never had the vaccination and never had chicken pox. While everyone else in my family (brother and sisters) and my daughter and husband have. The funny thing is here in the states you need the vaccination for school, but we have a shortage on certain vaccines right now. Unknown to those who aren't do for boosters yet. There are children in schools that are not vaccinated. The CDC sees no problem so they are allowing children to enter without them until they stock back up. Question? If it was absolutely needed before why not now?
