I just heard that a few hours ago, the House and Senate voted to pass the resolution proposed by President-select Bush. I'm heartsick and scared, and can't stop crying for very long. What kind of dangerous idiots are running our country, anyway? I had to turn the car around and go home and just cry with my family. This may not be a veg*n issue, but so many people/animals are going to die...it affects all of us. I really can't stand to call myself an American anymore...as a country we've become something I don't want to be associated with...maybe it is time to move. Guest guest Posted October 14, 2002 Report Share Posted October 14, 2002 The truly sad days in US history are the days when elections are decided with 50-60% voter turn out, and that's considered to be a heavy showing.
