not really reelated to veg*n topics, but....

I just heard that a few hours ago, the House and Senate voted to pass the

resolution proposed by President-select Bush.

I'm heartsick and scared, and can't stop crying for very long.

What kind of dangerous idiots are running our country, anyway? We're

probably going to take out a few thousand mothers and children (and their

beloved fathers and sons), and we've got the #1 world terrorist directing it

all.

Doh,

I know. I was in my car on my way to yoga class at

5am this morning. I heard the news and couldn't stop

crying. I had to turn the car around and go home and

just cry with my family. This may not be a veg*n

issue, but so many people/animals are going to

die...it affects all of us. I really can't stand to

call myself an American anymore...as a country we've

become something I don't want to be associated

with...maybe it is time to move.

With all due respect to those out there with differing

political views,

Linda

The truly sad days in US history are the days when elections are decided with

50-60% voter turn out, and that's considered to be a heavy showing.

The senate is up for grabs in 3 weeks, if you have concerns that is the

perfect time to express them.
