Guest guest
Hello mrrfle, And yes as you say the K is energy. Not bio-electric nerve generated energy however. It is an energy not well known or understood at all by science. Therefore scientific explanations are not helpful here. Neither are the New Age people who claim to know but have not awakened it. This energy will forcibly stretch your willingness and openness to consider other aspects of the manifestation of this force. Combinations of thought and movement will awaken this force whether you are at this time able to believe it or not. Movement is very much related to the activation leading to an awakening of the Kundalini and yes everyone has it so why isn't everyone activated and awakened from birth or childhood if this is such an abundant energy? People need to reach a certain place of maturity that is not chronological. A willingness to open to these energies is essential. A willingness to be still. To be persistent and consistent and patient. To stretch your belief systems far beyond your comfort zones and embrace the visions and truths that come to you without judgment. The Kundalini IS NT for everyone. It is not a diet soda for the soul. Comparing kundalini with athletic prowess is like comparing zipping your fly to the evolution of a species. It might all be connected but not in the same way. Or for a similar purpose. Energy is energy, but one amplitude of energy is different then another and what will run an industrial band saw isn't the same as what you would use to warm your tea. Similarly we, as a society are not commonly putting jet engines on roller skates. These are valid illustrations and comparisons. I once heard the Kundalini described as putting a ten year old in the cockpit of an f-18 fighter jet and saying to them "OK GO!" What do you think the survival percentages will be for that ten year old? Not good. To know and utilize this energy one must rid themselves of what they have come to know as real. A reality change of the greatest magnitude. It can be good or bad depending on your level of surrender to the forces of the Kundalini. Providing what it is that is brought to you based on your level of awareness, maturity, ego, fear, love, forgiveness, gratitude, meditation, prayer, to name a few. These are the new senses for experiential processing that a person needs to use daily for this energy to mature from an activation to an awakening without committing suicide in the process. No joke. Many have. Mrrfle, for your sake , I urge you to meditate and dance and pray and visualize and forgive and surrender and love by yourself where no one can see. Feel foolish then get over it. For starters. Daily. There is a reason you have made it to this list and whatever that reason is I and I feel everyone else here would like you to have a strong and smooth and joyful activation and awakening. -love to you - chrism mrrfle <mrrfle wrote: Thank you, this is a very helpful method!I am not unable to move, and at the risk of sounding foolish, I would feel ridiculous to use methods such as the Kundalini awakening dance, even if I could dance. I think physical activity does nothing to directly awaken kundalini because kundalini is energy and its very hard for me to believe physical movements can influence it. Or else many regular athletes would be getting awakenings without trying. I think many awakening methods involve movement because its like a "warm up" and makes it easier to concentrate, but thats not very helpful for me because I can't meditate until I'm too tired to exercise which is when I can relax.Using mantras gets in the way of my concentration, and prayer, even though it is known to work, I feel like I'm wasting my time if I do it. I just don't believe in the power of methods that don't directly involve the energy in motion.
Guest guest
Hi Mrrfle, At the base of the spine in the last 3 vertebrae of the coccyx a large portion of the Kundalini resides in this area. As the sacral plexus is rocked and manipulated by the bodies muscles and tendons backed up by an intention to activate the k, the energy can be aroused. So they dance with maximum swiveling of the hips and pelvic thrustings and exuberant ecstatic movements. I'm not much of a dancer either. But I have done ecstatic dancing and it will and does stimulate the Kundalini. Movement is part of the combination. Meditation, another combination part, with or without a mantra will calm the mind and as you become still behind your eyes the pineal openings will commence. I see what you mean as physical activity is not per se meditative but directed more towards an excitement and thereby not conducive to stillness of the mind or the meditative state. Have you tried Yoga? Selena on this list is a yoga teacher and might have some comments about how it affects her Kundalini. It can be dangerous if the person isn't willing to pay attention to what the energy and its symptomolgy is showing them. I feel that from your statements you have done some research and reading about the K and its effects on the body, and that you are in touch with yourself enough to make an informed choice . I just feel its responsible to mention the dangers as well as the joys so that a more complete understanding is gained if the person has not informed themselves. So there ya have it! - best to you Mrrfle mrrfle <mrrfle wrote: I am not comparing the kundalini energy itself to athletic activity. I meant that movement is athletic, and not meditative, so I don't see how the physical level can target the energetic levels sufficiently. Even if I did use physical methods, I wouldn't be able to focus properly, so it still wouldn't work for me, even if it does for other people. How many dancers have Kundalini awake just from dancing? Then everything is dangerous.
