Rosa Parks

When I think of the passing of Rosa Parks and how her actions sparked a

much attended effort to end certain injustices in the American society

I feel my spirit rising up. I do not think that there is much

separation between the spiritual and the political as the movement of

the spirit will put the of the established order in bold relief and

encourage one to testify in protest and act for change. The coming of

the K to me subverted the established order of how I thought about

reality and demanded that changes be made. It will force one to burn

the dross of the individual but will also attempt to burn the dross of

the societal environment at large. Compassion and love are still

revolutionary. Our energetic fields may not reach around the entire

globe enough for all to know and feel but the power of words and

actions which are the product of the spirit can spread and affect

individuals on a more understandable level. If the spirit moves you,

testify so that others may hear the movement of the spirit in your

words.
