Guest guest
Hello Bret, The Holy One is aware of the dynamic between what can be felt and what can be learned by the feeling. Your paintings Bret, in my opinion, are to be felt with the eyes unfocused and in the place of there but not there as Barbara speaks of it. Allowing it to take place. The Holy One can only allow and provide for the allowance. Choice must always be respected and some choose not to experience. Some will choose the discomforts and miseries of life rather than stepping into the areas that are not familiar - the unknown. Others will leap whole hearted into the void. Your canvasses Bret, I see as a kind of invitation to the void. Inviting people to go into a place they may be familiar with or not but a place that gives them the option to explore or not. Service can be given freely but nobody may take it seriously so the opportunities are lost. If a Holy One charges then the intent should be one of perseverance of the offerings as opposed to profit margins. The service will be Holy whether payment for it is attained or not. There is no stain upon a teaching that has an admission price attached to it. This is sheer adaptation to the environment we are living in, here in the West. Many have been conditioned to be wary of something offered for nothing as it probably has nothing to offer .. But to PAY for something well then this is altogether permission and admission all at once. Some feel the higher the price tag the more worthy the contents. Moderation is the best course. Not too much . Not too little. I try not too deny because of poverty as well when the interest is real and the need apparent. To truly affect all in Holiness one need only be Holy in all that he or she does. Try this meditation. Be Holy with everything in life from business to bathing to teaching to playing music to dancing to being the beauty instead of wishing for it externally. On purpose, daily as much as possible. Helping and healing takes many forms and offers a wide palette for the Holy Arts. Like Georgann's suggestion. And Selena's healings, Steve's advice to customers, Luis' teachings in Ecuador, Annes list in Aus. Johns plumbing business, all these services are Holy because the practioners choose to give and live this way. Unique to themselves but Holy non the less. Hope this helps - blessings to all - chrism
