Because of the way my K works it doesn't go up my spine but will clear from a body part...such as an arm or a leg, usually a muscle and I've realised this is where the memory of the event is stored. Only once have I managed to consciously change the direction of my clearings by focusing on the base of my spine and moving a sexual energy there. This is when it shot up the spine quickly and a fear I had made me catch my breath as it was released...then it was gone..within seconds. I realised then this is the quickest, less emotional and the least painful way to clear blockages - but haven't been able to continue it. I have been meditating recently each morning to try and direct the energy up my spine in the hope of opening the shushumna in some way so that the healing will go that way instead of the slow way of each nerve ending and muscle/bone/tissue that I've had for such a long time. I visualise the white light travelling up the spine to the third eye on the in breath and say 'I'. Then on the exhale I visualise the breath/light travelling down the spine to the base and say 'AM'. I'm presuming the " I AM " mantra will help in some way. Do you think I should continue trying to open the shushumna in this way...or do you think there could be another method I could try? It appears my process is still continuing the same way before I had my 'becoming' experience which I didn't expect. The only diference now is that I feel more calmer, more loving and have more frequent moments of compassion and love and acceptance of myself and others. I encourage these feelings as much as I can. I've avoided stimulating the heat in my feet to keep the K more manegeable, I walk barefoot trying to ground the energy and sometimes will sit with the feet in cool water as the heat really does become unbearable at times. Rubbing them together would really stimulate them too much...I think.. ?? Would you please describe the Kundalini Mudra in more detail as it's something I haven't done before. Seasons Greetings to you and all on the list....and may we all have a bright and happy start for the New Year....Kundalini fireworks all round!!! love and peace Amaargi --- chris <kundalini_awakening_teacher wrote: > Wounds of the past will sometimes cause an > energetic blockage.
