Guest guest
Kundalini mudra is the simple thumb and forefinger touching at the tips with the remaining fingers spread out and not touching eachother. Almost every yoga person I've seen photographed is doing this mudra. Don't know the Sanskrit word for it though I'm sure many on this list do. I would step into the area that seems to indicate a clean and rapid clearing for you. " focusing on the base of my spine and moving a sexual energy there. This is when it shot up the spine quickly and a fear I had made me catch my breath as it was released...then it was gone..within seconds. " This would be the next best step imho. If you wish to know ways of utilizing this type of flow we will need to discuss it on the tantra list or off list. Your initial way is useful as well as it allows a more site specific method of clearing. This is also useful for the healing of site specific areas on another person. Your personal matrix of healing skills. The radiant breathing is a good technique. If you wish you can also exhale the radiance up the spine as well as on the inhale. Squeeze the kegel muscles in a rapid contraction at the beginning of the exhale and inhale for a more focused pulse. Continue the mantra. Breathe, squeeze, mantra, and always, always, sending the eyes up to the brow of points and looking into the top of your head during this and as much as possible as this will have a directional impulse with the Kundalini. For any of the private students I teach, that are on this list, feel free to adopt this practice if you feel it suits you. I would stress that this be done twice a day - morning and evening. 20 minutes - minimum. Nice to read Amaargi of your continuing encouragement of the evolutionary aspects of your awakening. Keep walking barefoot, and cooling your feet. If you would like to try the stimulus feel free it is not typically a lasting condition but stops a little while after the clearing and or the insole stimulation has ceased. If you can and it is comfortable for you sit outside in easy pose , spine straight but relaxed, with the skin of the body at the seat or muladhara in direct contact with the earth, this can jump start the spinal/earth connection. Blessings and a great new year to all here! - chrism
