Guest guest
Thanks for sharing this experience, Barbara. I have occasionally seen my bones and internal organs during meditation, but not in the context of dismemberment. In fact, I never made the connection... Doh! As to the cracking sounds in the neck: once I received a chiropractic adjustment by one of my entities (are Hindu devas entities? Angels? Gods and goddesses?) that cracked my neck and made it sink way deeper in the pose. As a matter of fact, it was a funny experience, not scary at all like dismemberment would be. I explained it as divine help in getting through an energetic blockage. I am very interested in the notion of dismemberment--I remember reading a lot about it in Mircea Eliade's book on shamanism, but never experienced anything like that. Is the K necessarily conducive to shamanism or is the overlapping occasional? My understanding is that dismemberment allows for death to the physical plane and rebirth with a heightened spiritual consciousness. Is dismemberment a necessary step, or are there other liminal experiences that serve the same purpose (i.e., near death experiences, extraordinary visions, extreme illness and inexplicable healing, etc.)? Cheers, Sel
