Guest guest
Hi JohnE, It seems most people's activation stories on this list differ to a great degree. Many of the experiences corollate in certain categories and that is how I suppose some decide they are Kundalini active. My experiences have never been as consistently dramatic as others but certain ones have been definitely beyond a threshold of normal experiences, that is to say I could honestly say I cannot attribute them to subtle products of desire or imagination. However, before the first real noteworthy holy seizure I did experience several odd notions and compelling coincidences and did contemplate that I was going through a transformation. When the experiences first really pushed the threshold I knew that this thought had a great deal of accuracy to it. For me the first experiences beyond this threshold was when I discovered I could draw in a completely automatic way as if I was being guided. This came, and still does, with a great deal of bodily shaking, what are called kryias. This was a very different and unexpected experience for me and very noteworthy as such at the time. I wasn't looking for a Kundalini activation nor anything on a spiritual realm. Many other experiences followed, for the most part more psychological (for lack of a better word) than physical in sensation, ecstasies, transformations of perception and such. The world was almost constantly ripe with intense color, meaning and association which left me in awe. Or if it wasn't then my mind extremely active delving into intense contemplation. I was in tears near everyday for three months. It was wonderful and very tough on me. I didn't consider my experiences as Kundalini until two and a half years later when I read a book by Lee Sannella called " The Kundalini Experience. " I tried not to define my experiences, but I had no doubt that they were very different than before. If Grace comes to you, hopefully Grace will make herself known to you as such. But I don't think one can second guess Grace. And in that I cannot consider it too important if one doesn't have all the experiences that others do. I certainly would like to have some that others speak of, but I think what is more important to listen to whatever Grace is telling me. And so I would suppose what is most important is to listen to whatever Grace has to tell you.
