Guest guest
Hi tara, I too have been drawn back to meditating again after a long time away from it because of the intensity of K fire. For some reason I'm still being drawn to blend a mixture of two systems, which usually isn't recommended. It worked before for me so I'll just trust and go with the flow The first one is as I described in previous posts, sitting in lotus and visualising the white light moving from the base of the spine to the third eye and saying 'I' (with the in breath). Then on the exhale saying 'AM' as I visualise the white light descending from the third eye to the base of the spine. The other method which my guidance has said I need at this time is the Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan which is a 10 lesson DVD set on the very basics of the technique. I'll be starting from the beginning again. I've been guided to do this mainly for the physical movement involved to strengthen the abdominals, lower and upper back etc and most importantly, to learn the correct breathing techniques. It's to make me more aware of the spine and to be more flexible with it. It's not really to do with Kundalini and the kryas and other energy work that's taught in the course. I have a suspicion that I'm being prepared for what I call a 'traditional' K experience of the energy moving through the spinal column, instead of it's usual path of up the front of my body through the meridian channels. Two days ago I felt a dull ache in the base of my spine and the back of my thighs and lower back are aching also. This may be the beginning, starting at the base chakra (again!!). I'm only saying a 'suspicion' about the direction this will take me because I'm surprised after all these years I may actually be going to have a 'Kundalini Experience'...sheesh.. Maybe all that I've gone through so far is only the clearing and the preparation. It's very hard for me to feel grateful at this time, I seem to have taken the long road 'home'....hopefully this experience will be quick if the correct preparation has taken place. Do you have a take on this chrism?...anyone? Blessings Amaargi P.S. Tara, do I have your permission to cross post this message and replies to my Kundalini_Oz list as it may be of interest to members there? Also, if anyone else responds to the thread, do I have your permission also?. No problems if you don't wish to, I respect and accept your decisions without question. --- tara_tuttare <taratuttare wrote: Hello Chris and all, I took some time off from meditating when I was having alot of kryas, and have recently been drawn back to it. __ News: Get the latest news via video today! http://au.news./video/
Guest guest
Yes hello Amaargi, This is not backwards or the long road. Not many have had the gifts and experiences of a Siddhic nature that you have had. The K is working inside you as it must in order for you to emerge into the area of activity that awaits you. Your path is as exciting and laborious as any. The spinal sweep for you may be so much and so powerful that if you had not accomplished these previous works you would not be able to function alone. -
Guest guest
Hello Amaargi, I would modify your first system by bringing the energy all the way up to the seventh. The thought of the seventh taking care of itself is inconsistent with the activation of the other chakras. The seventh is not less or more important than any other. It too, needs to be stimulated and flexed. If you are engaging the tantric methods I have described, some energy is going there anyway. Another option with the seventh is visualizing it as a fully opened flower, a lotus or rose, with the petals in very brilliant colors of gold and silver sparkling. Covering the entire head from hairline back to the nape and down the sides like sideburns. This called the golden helmet in some traditions it is a tangible thing. Gopi was using this method when he activated. Always looking up at the brow of points. Tongue positioning is good after the energy is flowing as is with you, but as with most folks the tongue position at the outset of the flow does not need to be up. Mine wasn't and neither were others who activated without that knowledge. More important after the flow. The yoga, of course is for the expression to occur easily and smoothly through all the body centers. As Selena correctly surmised there are many minor chakras all through out the physical body and they are the centers that get worked on by the use of yoga. Yogi Bhijan is fine and you have the disks so " good on you " use them. - amaargi <ama_ar_gi wrote: Hi tara, I too have been drawn back to meditating again after a long time away from it because of the intensity of K fire.
